An account has been popping up in my X feed lately that really resonates with me. Here is their latest post as a sample
“Being a Dom isn’t about how much a sub obeys you.
It’s about how you protect what’s been given to you.
Showing up daily, upholding rules, creating a safe environment and supporting structures.
Responsibility is the price of authority. If you can’t pay it, don’t take the role.”
I’d love to give credit to the creator, but don’t want to violate the no promoting anything rule.
I’m curious though. Does this resonates with anyone else? And do you feel like it’s a common attitude for Dom/mes to have?
