When I’m thinking about the appeal of findom its hard for me to describe. Of course there is the subordination the hierarchy but you have this nearly all sub-dom dynamics. So what makes findom so special.
I guess the root is in the capitalistic system. Money is power and capitalism teaches us to seek both, so giving your money, your power, your freedom to another and that because you want to is a rebellious act. It makes you vulnerable but it frees you. Free from decision, free from chase of the capital, free from the expectations of society.
But capitalism also teaches us the exchange of goods and services. We are told to seek getting the most out of our money, as always looking for a unreachable optimum. Giving your money away without the expectation to get something is crazy in a capitalistic system and so it’s not surprising to feel shame. But giving without expecting return is not crazy, its devotion, its love its emotion. You shouldn’t be ashamed for devoting to another person you adore (unless you like to be ashamed) you should be proud. You express your feelings in a glorious way. You are rebellious, a warm and kind monolith in a cold and cruel world. You should love yourself just like you love others, you deserve it.
